Penders, Mimosa Rocks National Park, Conservation Management Plan
Feasibility and business assessment
The original Penders Precinct was donated to the NSW Government in 1976 by co-owners Sir Roy Grounds and Ken Myer. As part of the agreement the owners were permitted to continue to use an area of 20 hectares which contains their holiday retreats. The lease granting the right to this use expired in January 2011 and this feasibility study and business plan is required to support decisions regarding the ongoing management of the precinct and the park in general.
The broad purpose of undertaking such a study is to ensure that public services are delivered efficiently and effectively and in such a way that costs are minimised and the community benefit is maximised.

Located near Bega on the far south coast of NSW, Mimosa Rocks National Park offers beaches, headland lookouts, rainforest pockets and historic sites to explore.
