This document proposed to amend the Far South Coast Escarpment Parks Plan of Management to establish two wilderness pilot trials for horse riding. The pilots trialled horse riding on two identified routes through wilderness.

The first pilot involved horse riding on the Shoebridge Track in northern Deua National Park, and the second trialled horse riding on the WD Tarlington and the Georges Pack Track in the southern and eastern parts of Deua National Park. These trails are of strong cultural heritage significance to local horse riders.

This amendment remains draft (not adopted).

Errata

This draft proposed amendment refers to the 'Tarlington Track'. This is in error and the reference should be to the 'Tarlinton Track'. This error will be corrected in the final documentation.
