This draft plan of management gives members of the public the opportunity to have a say in the management direction for Jindalee National Park.

The park provides protection for an important remnant of woodland vegetation in a highly modified landscape. It also protects significant cultural heritage values and biodiversity values, and provides opportunities for public recreation and nature appreciation.

The Jindalee National Park draft plan of management proposes objectives and operations to achieve:

  • the protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage and natural values
  • the continued recovery of threatened and rare ecosystems and species
  • opportunities for nature-based visitor activities, including mountain bike riding, camping, walking, and horse riding.
