Minor amendments (fauna)

Minor amendment to the lists of threatened fauna in the Schedules of the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee, established under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 (the Act), has made a final determination to amend the list of species in Schedule 1, of the Act to reflect a change in the name of a listed species:

  • Anilios endoterus (Waite, 1918)
  • Notamacropus dorsalis (Gray, 1837)
  • Pseudomys mimulus Thomas, 1926
  • Phyllodes imperialis smithersi Sands, 2012
  • Lucasium microplax Eastwood, Doughty, Hutchinson & Pepper, 2020
  • Antaresia childreni (Gray, 1842)
  • Brachyurophis fasciolatus (Günther, 1872)
  • Antigone rubicunda (Perry, 1810)
  • Calidris falcinellus (Pontoppidan, 1763)
  • Anous albivitta (Bonaparte, 1856)
  • Parvipsitta porphyrocephala (Dietrichsen, 1837)
  • Parvipsitta pusilla (Shaw, 1790)
  • Pyrrholaemus sagittatus (Latham, 1801)

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee, has made a final determination to amend the list of species in Schedule 1, of the Act to correct any minor error:

  • Litoria littlejohni White, Whitford & Mahony, 1994
  • Liopholis montana (Donnellan, Hutchinson, Dempsey & Osborne, 2002)
  • Calamanthus fuliginosus (Vigors & Horsfield, 1827)
  • Dugong dugon (P.L.S. Müller, 1776)
  • Onychoprion fuscatus (Linnaeus, 1766)
  • Atrichornis rufescens (Ramsay, 1866)
  • Hylacola cauta Gould, 1843
  • Artamus cyanopterus cyanopterus (Latham, 1801)
  • Micronomus norfolkensis (J.E. Gray, 1839)
