Fee waiver for biodiversity stewardship agreement applications
The application fee for biodiversity stewardship agreements is being waived for applications made up to 30 June 2024.
By waiving application fees, the NSW Government is making it easier for landholders to enter into biodiversity stewardship agreements (BSAs), generate biodiversity credits to sell through the NSW biodiversity market and fund the management of weeds, pests and fire, and ecological restoration.
The application fee waiver applies to applications for new biodiversity stewardship agreements and applications for variations to biodiversity stewardship agreements that add credits or change the class of existing credits.
