Managing coastal waterways after the 2019–20 Black Summer Bushfires
The NSW south coast was particularly hard hit by the 2019–20 Black Summer bushfires, with 47 estuary catchments burnt. This webinar provides an overview of:
- the bushfire impacts, initial concerns and response actions by Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and Bega Councils with support from agency partners and NSW government funding
- some of the projects initiated to aid waterway recovery and build future resilience
- the lessons learnt along the way for future bushfire response and recovery.
