This guideline sets out a method for calculating risk to life in NSW national parks. The principal objective of this guideline is to provide a standard method for quantitatively calculating risk to life for various scenarios that could be encountered in national parks and for which landslide risk assessment may be undertaken.
These procedures provide practical support for implementing the Landslides and Rockfalls Policy. They provide a consistent process for the National Parks and Wildlife Service’s management of landslides and rockfalls in NSW parks.
